2009/2010 DEALER Terms and Conditions

TERMS: Net 30 days (for approved accounts).  MasterCard, Visa, and Discover accepted.

FREIGHT TERMS:

• Orders under $500 shipped FOB Jasper, Indiana.  Freight charges are added to the invoice.           

                • Orders between $501 and $999 are assessed a 10% of invoice freight charge.     

• Orders between $1000 and $1999 are assessed a 5% of invoice freight charge.     

• Orders over $2000 are shipped Freight Free within the Continental US (except to the Western states of Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona. A 5% freight charge will apply)

FOB ITEMS:  Items marked FOB in our catalog are shipped prepaid with freight charges added to invoice under all programs and circumstances.  Shipments outside the US are shipped FOB.  NOTE: Lift-gate charges will be added if this service is required. 

EOP (Early Order Program) Items:  Items marked EOP in our catalog must be ordered during the Early Order Period (prior to December 31, 2009) to guarantee delivery.  These items may not be stocked in our warehouse.

DATING TERMS: A Spring Dating Programs is available; see separate dating program sheet for details.

NO MINIMUM ORDER: We accept any size order. Orders under $100 are subject to a handling fee of $6.00.

DROP SHIPMENTS: TDI is pleased to offer drop ship service directly to your retail customers.  A $6.00 handling fee will be charged, plus actual freight.  In some cases extra packaging charges will apply.

Credit Terms: To set up an account simply call our customer service department and request a credit application or apply online (www.tierraderco.com). You will be notified when approval has been given. Overdue invoices will be assessed a 1.5% per month finance charge.

Prompt and Efficient Service:  Under normal conditions, orders are shipped within 24 to 48 hours.

Back Orders: Items temporarily out of stock are shipped at our discretion and according to the freight terms of the original order.  These items do not qualify for dating terms.

Returned Goods Policy:   Returns are not accepted without prior return authorization from our Customer Service Department.  The RA number must appear on all packages.  Return merchandise must be sent freight prepaid along with a copy of the invoice within 30 days of the invoice date. Returns may be subject to a 20% restocking and/or repackaging fee.  Items must be in saleable condition.  TDI does not issue call tags.

Shortages and Damages: All claims must be made within 10 days of the invoice date. In the case of a damaged shipment, indicate “damaged” when signing for the package and call us immediately for further instructions. Keep the original carton and damaged merchandise until claim is resolved.

Express Limited Warranty: Tierra-Derco International warrants to the original user and consumer (“consumer” or “you”) that any goods supplied by Tierra-Derco shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for ONE YEAR from the date of purchase.  This EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY does NOT apply where there has been a failure of the goods due to misuse, improper assembly, neglect, accident or normal wear and tear.

Prices and specifications subject to change without notice:  We make every attempt to hold catalog prices throughout the year.  Due to fluctuations in international currency and inflation, price changes may be unavoidable.  Actual color of product may vary slightly due to color variations in the printing process.  All weights listed in the catalog are approximate.  Sizes listed may vary slightly due to handmade craftsmanship.
